A. If we want to have a complete understanding of the Bible, we must see that the Bible has only one
center and that this center encompasses many matters; it is comprehensive.

2) Q. There are many study aids that expound the Bible. Do the life-study messages do the same?
A. The Life-study messages do not merely expound the Bible and present the truth. Rather, they also
bring people into the truth to enjoy and experience its riches.
问：有许多研读工具书来讲解圣经。生命读经是否也是一样的呢?
答：生命读经不仅讲解圣经，陈明真理，并且带人实际的进到真理中，享受并经历其丰富。
3) Q. The Life-study messages seem to be unique to the Lord’s recovery. Who published them?
A. The Life-study of the Bible took Witness Lee the longest time to publish, its content is also the
broadest and deepest, and it is the most complete publication work in the Lord’s recovery.
问：生命读经似乎对主的恢复是独特的。它们是谁出版的？

4) Q. The Bible has sixty-six books, and how many Life-study messages are there?
A. There are 867 life-study messages in the Old Testament, and 1,117 messages in the New Testament,
1,984 messages in total.
问：圣经有六十六卷，那生命读经总共有多少篇呢？
答：旧约生命读经计有867篇，新约生命读经有1117篇，所以合计共有1984篇信息。
5) Q. These life-study messages, are they supposed to replace the Bible?
A. The life-study messages do not replace the Bible and are also not for educational research, but
they are the best way to bring people into the Bible.
问：这些生命读经，应该取代圣经吗?
答：生命读经不是替代圣经，也不是为着学术研究，乃是领人进入圣经上好的路。
6) Q. I usually gain some knowledge of the truth from other Bible study tools. What about the life-
study messages?
A. When we study the life-study messages we are always able to obtain the life nourishment from them,
and we are also able to gain some knowledge of the truth.
问：我通常从其他的圣经研究工具书中得到一些真理知识。那生命读经怎么样呢？
答：我们追求生命读经时，往往能从其中得着生命的滋养，也能对真理有所认识。
7) Q. Some don’t understand the truths of the Bible. How are the life-study messages supposed to
help?
A. The goal of the life-study messages is to bring people into the truths of the Bible. In the past,
when people read the Bible they could not find the way to enter in, so they had no way to understand
it.
问：有些人不明白圣经的真理。生命读经能帮助他们吗？
答：生命读经的目的，是要领人进入圣经的真理。从前人读圣经，总是不得其门而入，无法明白。
8) Q. Bible study tools like commentaries have different functions. What is the function of the
life-studies?
A. The function of the life-study messages is to minister the life supply, to present the truth, to
solve the common and hard problems in the Bible and to open up the books of the Bible.
问：圣经研究工具书就像说明书一样有不同的功能。生命读经的功能是什么？

9) Q. I like what you have told me so far about the life-study messages. Do they have any key
features?
A. The features of the life-study messages are first to point out the central theme of the Bible and
all of its aspects, second so that we can apprehend and experience all the aspects of Christ and
finally to check the types with our practical experience and applying them to our daily life.

10) Q. The life-study messages can help me to know the truth. How can I read through all the
messages?
A. If we read two messages a day, we will finish all the life-study messages in two years and eight
months. The best way to study is to find out the truth and realize the crucial points.
问：生命读经可以帮助我认识真理。我如何能读完所有的信息？
答：我们如果每天追求两篇，只要费时两年八个月，就能将新旧约生命读经完全读完。研读最好的方法就是找出其
中的真理，并且进入其中的要点。
