1) Q. In preaching the gospel, I don’t know what I should say first. Do you have any suggestions?
A.The opening words are the most crucial in gospel preaching. To know how to begin, you have to pray, “Lord, what would I say?”

2) Q. Once I have good opening words, how should I speak in order to leave a good impression?
A. Sometimes you have to begin in a very gentle, normal way. Your speaking should give the impression that you are a normal person. This kind of impression will always be welcomed by people and will also invite people’s openness to you.
问：一旦有了好的开头，我该怎样说话，才能给人留下好的印象？
答：有时候，你必须以非常文雅、平常的方式开始。你说的话应当给人一个印象，你是个平常的人。这种印象令人欢迎，使人向你敞开。
3) Q. The mystery of human life is great for gospel preaching. Can I use it every time, for every person?
A. Opening with The Mystery of Human Life might be quite good for certain persons, but it may not be appropriate for everyone. Thus, you have to consider how to use it for the greatest profit.
问：“人生的奥秘”用来传福音太好了。是不是每一次，无论对什么人，我都能用它？
答：用“人生的奥秘”开头，对某些人可能非常好，但可能这本册子不是对每个人都合用。因此，你必须考虑如何使用，以获得最大的益处。
4) Q. Once I have someone’s attention, how do I introduce the mystery of human life?
A. You may say, “Sir, here is a book in my hand. It talks about something marvelous which I would like to share with you. What it talks about is the mystery of our human life.” This kind of application is very understandable.
问：我一旦引起了别人的注意，那要如何来介绍“人生的奥秘”呢?
答：你可以说，“先生，我手中有一本书，说到一件奇妙的事，我愿意与你分享。这本书是说到我们人生的奥秘。”这样的应用，是人能够懂得的。
5) Q. Can you give me some basic principles when speaking to new ones?
A. If you are going to reach certain persons, first of all, you must know their real situation. Second, you have to consider what portion of the holy Word can be applied to that particular situation. Thirdly, speak in a way that is always practical.
问：你能给我一些与新人交谈的基本原则吗？
答：你若要去接触一些人，首先，你必须知道他们实际的光景。其次，你必须考虑圣经中哪一段话能应用到那个特别的情形。第三，说话一直要很实际。
6) Q. When we go to preach the gospel, what should be the base of our speaking?
A. You must have some verses or portions in the Bible as the base of your speaking. The basic thoughts in the Bible are the top ones. No logic can exceed the logic of the Bible.
问：我们出去传福音时，说话的根基该是什么？
答：你必须有几节或一段圣经作你说话的根基。圣经中的基本思想是高超的，没有别的逻辑能超过圣经的逻辑。
7) Q. In the past I have run into problems when I first ask people, “Are you a Christian?” Is this a good start?
A. They may respond to you with, “I don’t like Christianity.” No one can assure you that in any gospel situation there will not be problems. Then what should you do? You have to learn how to shift to another subject.
问：在过去当我第问人,“你是基督徒吗?”我遇到了些问题。这是个好的开头吗？
答：他们可能回答：“我不喜欢基督教。”没有人能保证，你在任何传福音的情形里都不会有问题。这时你该怎么办？你必须学习换另一个话题。
8) Q. If I tell someone “I am a Christian” and he responds, “That’s your problem.” What should I say?
A. Then you could say to him, “Yes, this is my problem. But, sir, we all have to realize our whole human life is a problem. Is there a human being without a problem? In our human life, everything is a problem.”
问：我若告诉某人“我是基督徒”，然后他回答说：“那是你的问题。”那我该说些什么呢？
答：你可以接着对他说，“是的，这是我的问题。但是，先生，我们都必须看见整个人生是一个问题。谁没有问题？我们人生的每一件事都是问题。”
9) Q. I never thought that sharing practical points would be effective in gospel preaching. Why is this important?
A. This kind of practical talk should convince him. He may not admit it, but in his heart he will be convinced. Then from this point you can turn to the mystery of human life.
问：我从来不觉得分享一些实际的点会在传福音中有效。这个为什么很重要呢？
答：这种实际的谈话，必定能劝服他。他或许不承认你所说的，但在他心里，他会被劝服。然后从这里，你能转到人生的奥秘。
10)Q. Once you have shared some practical points, how do you turn the conversation back to the mystery of human life?
A. You may then continue, “No, sir, human life is a mystery. We do not know where we came from, and we do not know where we will go. None of us knows how long we will live.” This kind of normal speaking will open a wide field for you to preach the gospel.
问：一旦你分享了一些实际的点之后，怎么才能把谈话转回到“人生的奥秘”呢？
答：你可以继续说，“所以，先生，人生是一个奥秘。我们不知道从那里来，也不知道往那里去，我们没有人知道自己会活多久。”这种平常的谈话，会为你开启广大的范围，让你传扬福音。
