10. Fellowship with the Saints after the Meeting

1) Q. Hallelujah Steve! Wasn’t that a wonderful meeting tonight? What did you enjoy?
A. Yes, I especially liked singing hymn 812 about coming to the Lord.

2) Q. What did you enjoy the most about hymn 812?
A. I enjoyed coming to the Lord because, my heart thirsts for Him.

3) Q. What do you think this means according to the hymn?
A. My heart thirsts for Him means, that I deeply long to drink of Him, to satisfy my thirst.

4) Q. What does coming to Him in this way, to satisfy your thirst lead you to?
A. It will lead me to draw closer to Him, to behold His glorious, radiant face.

5) Q. How did our reading of 2 Corinthians chapter 3 help us to experience Him in this way?
A. In verse 16, the veil over their hearts is taken away, whenever they turn to Him.

6) Q. What do you think the veil is? Look at the note in Isaiah 25:7:1?
A. The veil today keeps people from seeing God’s economy.

7) Q. What do you think God’s economy is? Look at footnote 3 in 1 Timothy 1:4.
A. God’s economy is to dispense Himself in Christ into His chosen people to be His expression.

8) Q. What happens to us when we are like mirrors, beholding and reflecting His glory?
A. 2 Cor. 3:18:7 says “He infuses us with the elements of what He is, and what He has done.”

9) Q. What do you think this means according to 2 Cor. 3:18:7?
A. This means we are being transfigured by the renewing of our minds into His image.

10) Q. How can you apply this teaching to your daily life?
A. I need to continue to turn my heart to the Lord so the veil can be taken away.
